What you are buying. A one-time purchase of the recorded course RNA-seq Analysis for Absolute Beginners: seven video sessions, the slide decks, the scripts and notebooks, the example data, the handouts and workbooks that exist for a given session, and both take-home pipelines. $497, paid once. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
All sales are final. Every file is downloadable, the videos included. Once a file is on your computer there is no way to return it, so there are no refunds and no partial refunds. That is exactly why the full twelve-minute walkthrough is free — it shows you every session before you decide anything. Please watch it.
How you get in. Buying creates an account on ngs101.com. Sign in with the email address and password you used at checkout to reach your downloads page. The links on that page are generated fresh each time it loads and stop working after a few hours by design; reload the page and you get new ones. There is no limit on how many times you download.
How long access lasts. Your downloads page stays available for at least twelve months from the date of purchase. The files you have already downloaded are yours permanently and do not depend on this site staying online — the example data is bundled with the material, so everything runs with no internet connection at all.
What you may do with the files. Use them for your own work and your own research, on as many of your own computers as you like, for as long as you like.
What you may not do. Share, resell, republish or redistribute the files or any part of them; place them on a shared drive, repository or course platform that other people can reach; or use them to deliver a paid course of your own. One purchase covers one person. For a lab or a teaching group, ask about a group arrangement.
Live workshop credit. The full $497 you pay here comes off the price of a live workshop seat whenever you decide to take one. There is no deadline. Reply to your purchase email to request the code; it can be used once.
Support. This is a self-serve product, deliberately. Everything you need is in the files, and the written walkthrough for every step is on ngs101.com. The recorded course does not include email support, office hours or a forum. The live workshop is where I answer your questions on your own data.
Payment. Payment is processed by Stripe. NGS101 does not see or store your card details.
